With its true bistro vibe, this spot in the 13th arrondissement by Thibault Sombardier, former Top Chef contestant, wellknown to food enthusiasts from his time at Antoine, exudes warmth and familiarity, as if it’s been here for years. The menu keeps things unpretentious with hearty, playful dishes: egg mayonnaise, snails, kidneys and chitterling sausages, served with a suitably fine selection of wines, either by the glass or the bottle. A word of warning: the warm chocolate mousse is irresistible, pairing beautifully with a full-bodied red or an excellent noble-rot wine.
