Near Gare de Lyon hides the kind of place that wins you over every time. L’Esprit is a one-of-a-kind wine bar and cellar in Paris. The concept? Here, they serve almost exclusively homemade savoury brioches, generously filled and served as sandwiches. A special favourite is the ‘Super Cochon’ with black pudding – the kind of treat that keeps you coming back without hesitation. To go with these delicious little brioches, there’s a wide selection of bottles: fairly classic, but of excellent quality. During the day, it’s also worth enjoying the coffee-shop spirit, with speciality coffees and a few pastries. A rare gem!
