Langosteria

This chic brasserie – with its marble, travertine and brass – is perched high on the 7th floor of the Samaritaine, in the plush setting of the Cheval Blanc hotel. The sophisticated menu rolls out refined Italian dishes with a backbone of seafood specialities like line-caught sea bass carpaccio and amberjack sashimi. In season, there’s also charcoalcooked Galician octopus and sea urchin spaghetti. Delicious. But the well-heeled patrons also come here for the magical views of the Pont Neuf and the Seine through to the Eiffel Tower. Not to mention the spectacular wine list with nearly 900 entries, both Italian and French, showcasing prominent names and boutique producers.
