La Halle aux Grains

On the third floor of the Bourse du Commerce – the modern art museum housing part of François Pinault’s collection – poetic Aubrac chefs Michel and Sébastien Bras have designed an incredibly creative restaurant. As a nod to this former wheat market, it honours grains, cereals and legumes. It boasts a commanding view of the glass dome, restored by architect Tadao Ando, and a magnificent décor painted in 1889. For the wines, over 400 French and international listings are a treat for the palate. The added bonus is forty or so exclusive listings specially designed for the establishment by excellent wineries where patrons can (re)discover signature grape varieties.
