La Cave du Hérisson

Cave du Hérisson, run by Arthur, is an understated location in the 15th arrondissement, but an absolute must-visit. This small wine merchants and wine bar offers a great selection of French wines complemented by some interesting finds from Italy, Spain and Portugal. There’s also a range of bottled and canned beers that are ideal as you wait for your well-filled glass. At 6pm, the venue turns into a wine bar. We go for the pork pie or croque-monsieur with its generous layer of béchamel sauce and, to end on a sweet note, a melt-in-the-mouth rice pudding – true comfort food!
