A trip down memory lane awaits in this bistro – nearly a century old – with its retro vibe. The Marais spot is brought to life by Edouard Vermynck (formerly of L’Entrée des Artistes) and chef Geoffroy Langella, a butcher’s son who serves traditional dishes with a modern twist. Naturally, the famous cordon bleu generously filled with Comté (€32) is not to be missed. For the wines, expect natural selections with a strong focus on Beaujolais and its surrounding area.
